Auvano Limited is registered in England & Wales. Auvano LLC operates in the United States. This policy applies to all entities operating under the Auvano brand.
Data Collection
We collect the following categories of information:
- Restaurant Operations Data — Menu items, orders, revenue figures, staff schedules, table configurations, and inventory levels that you input into the platform.
- Call Data — Phone call recordings, transcripts, caller phone numbers, and call metadata processed through the Auvano Phone system.
- Customer Data — Your restaurant customers' phone numbers, order history, and preferences stored for recognition and loyalty features.
- Account Information — Your name, email address, restaurant name, billing information, and login credentials.
- Usage Data — How you interact with the platform, including pages viewed, features used, and session duration.
Data Usage
We use your data to:
- Operate and improve the Auvano platform and all its features.
- Process phone calls, take orders, and manage restaurant operations on your behalf.
- Recognize returning customers and personalise their experience.
- Generate analytics, reports, and insights for your dashboard.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Provide customer support and onboarding assistance.
- Send service-related communications (not marketing, unless you opt in).
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We use the following third-party processors solely to operate our service:
- Hosting & Infrastructure — Render, AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Phone Services — Vapi, Twilio
- Payment Processing — Square
- Database — Neon (PostgreSQL)
All processors are bound by data processing agreements and are required to protect your data to the same standards we maintain.
Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies — Required for the platform to function (authentication, session management).
- Analytics cookies — Anonymous usage data to help us improve the platform. No personal information is tracked.
- Preference cookies — To remember your settings such as theme preference (dark/light mode).
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. Each restaurant's data is completely isolated from other tenants — your data is never mixed with another restaurant's data.
Data retention: Your data is retained while your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days, unless you request earlier deletion or a data export.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Rectification — Correct any inaccurate data.
- Erasure — Request deletion of your data.
- Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Restriction — Limit how we process your data.
- Objection — Object to certain types of processing.
